About Simon
Simon Andrews is developer specializing in PHP, HTML, CSS, Objective-C/Cocoa on iPhone and Mac OS X, and C# on Windows. Born back in the days of Windows 3.1, Simon has had a keen interest in technology since the day he could reach for a mouse.
In 2006, Simon's involvement in technology became significantly more important, as he became involved in the Shift Linux project. From there, he was recruited by Neowin to join the developer team, joining another developer he had worked with on Shift, Dave Legg. Unfortunately, the Shift Linux project faded into obscurity, and Simon's focus shifted entirely to Neowin and his own projects.
Currently, Simon is taking a break from Neowin development to focus on his education, as well as developing his other interests, including writing. You'll find his writings here.
